HOME, Welcome!

Letters for Mudlarks & Proselings

Muddy Prose Mail Club is a monthly collection of words, discoveries, art, nature, growth, and wonder. Each month, you’ll receive thoughtfully written letters exploring various topics from flowers, to mysticism, to poets, to alchemy/transformation, along with small pieces of art to pin, frame, or tuck into your journal. This is a multi-themed mail club, as I am a writer, and part of my duty as a writer is researching different topics. I’ll explode if I have to keep all the interesting things I discover to myself!

Some Features Are Currently Under Development

Thank you for being here early. I’ve discovered I’m not a natural when it comes to making a web site, so by allowing a manageable amount of members to join, I can confirm what’s working as expected and what isn’t, without compromising your experience. Feel free to wander, discover, and check back as new paths open. And if you’re not ready to join, but not ready to leave, subscribe and stay in the loop of development, updates, and maybe even a future promo!

Offerings

Musings & art designed by me, recipes, oracle cards, and mood-inspired ephemera to collage your journal, decorate laptops, or tuck away for later.

All subscriptions are set up on month to month or yearly paid subscriptions, with easy, no hassle Quit or Pause features.

When life is too hectic to slow down, it’s nice to find something meaningful in the mailbox. Especially a letter written, signed, crafted, and mailed by an actual human being.

A richly textured composition of scattered sticker sheets spread across a dark walnut tabletop, each sticker featuring detailed botanical sketches, crescent moons, antique keys, and regal cats with star-studded fur. A small handmade print of a wild woman crowned with antlers lies partially beneath the stickers, edges torn but deliberate. A brass candlestick with a half-burned beeswax candle stands nearby, wax drips catching the light. The scene is illuminated by warm lamplight from the right, creating pools of light and deep shadows that enhance the moody, sophisticated atmosphere. Photographic realism, shot from a slightly elevated angle using the rule of thirds, with subtle bokeh softening the far edge of the table.
Inside a rustic wooden crate, a curated subscription box is revealed: a folded kraft envelope stamped with a delicate cat-and-moon sigil, a small bundle of art prints tied with black velvet ribbon, and a glass vial of miniature pressed ferns and petals. Nestled shredded kraft paper cradles everything, with a few matte vinyl stickers peeking out, depicting wild landscapes and alchemical symbols. Soft, indirect natural light from above creates gentle highlights on paper textures and glass, emphasizing craftsmanship. The atmosphere feels like a secret gift from the forest. Photographic realism, centered overhead composition with sharp focus throughout, showcasing each object clearly within an elegant, earthy color palette.
A moonlit forest floor scene arranged on a dark slate backdrop: a single letter on rough handmade paper written in silver ink, surrounded by carefully placed pinecones, raven feathers, and smooth river stones painted with tiny alchemical symbols. A sleek, illustrated black cat cutout with luminous eyes sits to one side, its tail curling toward the letter. Cool, blue-toned side lighting mimics moonlight, casting dramatic, elongated shadows and picking up the metallic shimmer of the ink. The mood is mystical, secretive, and sophisticated. Photographic realism, low-angle macro shot emphasizing texture and depth, with the letter in crisp focus and the outer elements gently fading into soft darkness.
